Not Just Boring Prints Of Digital Photos 

The advent of the digital camera has opened up many wonderful options when it comes to storing and using your pictures. It has never been easier and tidier to keep your pictures than in these days when they can all rest peacefully and discreetly in your computer.

Of course, there is always the problem of getting them. With a real, physical photo album, you had only to take it off the shelf and sit down with a cup of hot cocoa and flip through the pages reminiscing. When you store your photos in your computer rather than on your shelf you don’t have that option. Sitting in front of a computer to look at your pictures is nice sometimes, but it lacks the charm of sitting down with a book in your hands.

Well, we all know that the days of printed photos are certainly not over. If you want to make them into prints digital photos can be taken to a photo lab to be printed. Or, if you plan to print photos regularly you might look into getting a photo printer of your own.

With the ability to make prints digital photos can be placed in a photo album just like those you had for the pictures from your 35 mm camera. You might choose to store and keep most of your pictures or at least the random ones on your computer only printing special ones, or those that belong to a particular vacation or event. These can then be arranged in an album.

Besides just regular prints of digital photos there are a lot of interesting things you can do with your pictures. Instead of just printing them out, framing them and hanging them on the wall you can have them printed on canvas, stretched over a frame and then hang it on the wall. This adds a very interesting and artistic look to the picture and is a great addition to any room.

You can also have your digital photos printed onto other objects. Maybe you want a picture of your family printed on a t-shirt. You might print your children’s faces on a mug for their grandparents or make a keychain for your boyfriend using a picture from a day at the beach. There really are so many options that work great for you or make fantastic gifts to give away.

Choosing how to use or store your pictures is a personal choice. For convenience, keeping them on a hard drive is the easiest way to go, but keep in mind there are much more innovative and interesting ways to use your digital photos. Creating a piece of art for your home or a gift is an excellent idea and shows that you care.
